Purpose of the platform

FeliMatch provides a technical platform through which registered users can search, compare, manage stud-cat profiles and communicate with each other in a protected environment.

The platform supports professional contact initiation between responsible cat breeders. FeliMatch does not make breeding, veterinary or contractual decisions for users.

Use by club-affiliated breeders

FeliMatch is intended for club-affiliated cat breeders and may request and review suitable evidence for this purpose.

There is no entitlement to registration, activation or permanent use. FeliMatch may refuse access or review it again if information or evidence is doubtful.

No sale of animals

FeliMatch is not a marketplace for selling, buying or brokering animals.

Listings, price negotiations or content aimed at selling animals through FeliMatch may be removed.

Responsibility for content

Users are responsible for texts, images, documents, messages, pedigrees, evidence, health data and other content they upload or transmit.

Users must ensure they are entitled to use the content and do not violate third-party rights, data protection requirements or legal provisions.

Truthful health data and evidence

Health data, test results, vaccination or infection status, blood group, genetic traits and pedigrees must be provided truthfully and to the best of the user's knowledge.

FeliMatch may review evidence or request additional information, but does not guarantee medical or breeding evaluation of that evidence.

No guarantee for matings or breeding success

FeliMatch does not guarantee a successful request, mating, pregnancy, birth, health, breeding suitability or response from other users.

All professional, health, legal and economic decisions remain with the users involved.

Profile review and visibility

FeliMatch may review, approve, restrict or return profiles, documents, images and information for revision.

Reviews serve platform quality and security. They are not a binding confirmation that all information is correct or complete.

Removal in case of violations

Profiles, content or accounts may be restricted, deactivated or removed if they violate these terms, applicable law or legitimate security interests.

This applies especially to false information, missing rights, unsuitable content, repeated complaints or abusive use.

Prohibition of misuse, fake profiles and fraud

Fake profiles, identity deception, fraud attempts, spam, harassment, circumvention of technical safeguards and abusive data use are prohibited.

Suspected cases may be reviewed, documented and, where legally permissible, shared with competent bodies or affected users.

Data protection and sensitive data

FeliMatch handles personal and breeding-relevant data with particular care. Sensitive documents and private contact details are not intentionally made freely public.

Users remain responsible for uploading only necessary data and adequately reviewing or redacting sensitive information before release.

Liability

FeliMatch is liable for its own breaches of duty in accordance with statutory provisions.

FeliMatch does not guarantee user-provided content, accuracy of information, breeding decisions, health assessments or agreements between users.

Payments and Terms

Paid memberships grant access to the platform and booked functions for the stated term.

Paid memberships are not refunded if an account is deleted, deactivated or voluntarily unused.

Access or the profile remains in place until the end of the booked term even if the user deletes or deactivates the account. Access then ends automatically.

All prices stated are final prices. According to the German small business regulation under Section 19 UStG, no VAT is shown.

Contact options

The contact page is available for general questions. Registered users may also submit support and report topics through the ticket system.

Legally relevant or security-related matters should be described as specifically as possible and supported by suitable information.

Ongoing platform development

FeliMatch is under continuous development. Functions may be added, adjusted or temporarily limited where technically, organizationally or security-wise necessary.

Existing rights and obligations under these terms remain unaffected unless updated terms are validly incorporated.
