Controller
The controller for FeliMatch is Melanie Strobl, Straßburger Straße 11, 90443 Nuremberg, Germany, email: admin@felimatch.com.
Processing is carried out to provide, secure and manage the platform for verified cat breeders.
Scope
This privacy policy applies to the website, registration, login, user profiles, stud cat profiles, document areas, messaging and payment flows of FeliMatch.
FeliMatch provides the technical infrastructure. Users remain responsible for the lawfulness of their uploaded content, images, documents and messages.
Registration and Login
During registration, master data such as name, email address, password hash, country, language, club details, cattery name, phone number and optional notes are processed.
Mandatory confirmations for terms, privacy, lawful content, image rights and the ban on AI images are stored with timestamp, version and optional technical evidence.
Club Proof and Uploads
A club proof may be uploaded for breeder verification. Uploads are stored securely and used for review, approval, documentation and abuse prevention.
Allowed file types and sizes are technically limited. Unneeded or rejected content may be blocked, replaced or retained where legally required.
Profiles and Stud Cat Data
Users can create profiles and stud cat profiles with breed, colour, health, breeding, region, images and description data.
Sensitive details are displayed only in a limited way or after controlled release according to the platform concept.
Chat System
Messages between users are processed so that stud requests, questions and controlled releases can take place inside FeliMatch.
Chats may be disabled after violations, suspensions or account deletion. Existing messages may remain stored for traceability and legal obligations.
Documents, Pedigrees and Health
Pedigrees, health documents, tests, and other proofs may contain especially sensitive information. Users are responsible for checking contents before upload or release and redacting them where desired.
Documents are not shown publicly, but may be released to authorized users or specifically in chat. FeliMatch accepts no liability for voluntarily released unredacted content.
Document responsibility and redaction
Users decide themselves whether to redact sensitive details before upload or release.
FeliMatch does not manually redact, edit documents, or accept responsibility for voluntarily released sensitive content.
Admin Review
Admins may review registrations, club proofs, reports, payment status, and internal security events. Stud documents such as pedigrees, genetic tests, or health proofs are not manually reviewed or redacted.
This review protects platform integrity, other users, abuse prevention and compliance with the terms.
Email System
FeliMatch may use email for registration, password functions, support, security information and important platform notices.
Technical delivery data may be processed by the relevant email service provider.
Payment Providers
External providers such as PayPal, Stripe, SumUp, Klarna or bank transfer may be used for payments. Payment-related data is transmitted to or processed by the provider.
FeliMatch stores payment status, references, periods and activation information where needed for contract performance, evidence and accounting.
Cookies
FeliMatch uses necessary cookies for operation, language, security, login and cookie choices. Comfort, statistics and marketing cookies are activated only after consent.
The choice can be changed at any time in the cookie settings.
Server Logs and Security
When the platform is accessed, technical data such as IP address, time, URL, browser, referrer and error data may be processed in server logs.
Processing serves operation, security, error analysis, attack detection and abuse prevention.
User Responsibility
Users are responsible for ensuring that their content, images, documents and messages are lawful and do not infringe third-party rights.
FeliMatch does not provide an advance guarantee for the accuracy or legality of user content.
Deletion and Retention
Deletion is technically initiated through account deletion. A soft delete is set, profiles become invisible and chats are disabled.
Data may remain stored where legal retention, evidence, payment processing, legal defence or legitimate security interests require it.
Data Subject Rights
Users may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR.
Requests can be sent to admin@felimatch.com. Legal retention obligations remain unaffected.
Technical Safeguards
FeliMatch uses password hashing, prepared database statements, CSRF protection, access controls and protected upload areas.
No absolute security can be guaranteed; security events are reviewed and documented.
